To the next 90 days!

So I tried to do this with my livejournal, but I am a slacker. So I'm going to do it here. I will force myself to blog everyday. I need to exercise my writing, and any writing is helpful, so why not?! I'll be using the format below each day. Hopefully, this will keep me focused on my writing, The Secret, my weight loss goal. Oh yeah, I started the Biggest Loser Challenge at work, so the huge cash prize is my motivation there!

WRITE: I started writing a new story today.

SECRET: I am focusing on the Biggest Loser Challenge prize: Ask. Believe. Receive.

EXERCISE: None today - my back was being a real jerk today. Tomorrow, my walking shoes are going to work with me.

WATER: About 8 oz. Not much, but I did drink juice and only had about 16 oz. of soda, which is a huge drop for me!

Supply List is on sale now!!

I am pleased to announce that my second fiction short story is currently on sale! This is a suspense/dark romance/mystery that is cheap, short, and easy to read. At only $0.99, what better way to spend a cold day than warming up with a hot new release?

Description:
Jared Macky is stuck in summer courses in an attempt to finish college and get out of the small Kansas town. Though he's a young, good-looking guy, he doesn't date much, blaming it on his lack of time with schoolwork. The truth is, he's never been the same since his girlfriend's brutal murder. When a cute girl in his art class shows interest in him, his life changes abruptly.

Xbox 360 Kinect game review - "Dance Masters Evolution"

Stars: 1 of 5

So I rented this game, thinking it would be similar to one of my favorite Kinect games, Dance Central. I was hoping to find a bigger variety of music, even though there were no familiar songs mentioned on the label of the game - this should have been my first warning. The game description boasts "no peripherals to tie you down". A better choice of words would be "little guidance to help you dance." When dancing, the characters dance and once in a while a move will come up and you are expected to mimic the move. This was difficult without any type of dance move suggestion. What makes this even more difficult is the music choices. I had never heard of any of the songs. This game is incredibly inferior to other Kinect games. I was sadly disappointed, but thankful that my movie store let me trade it in for a new game!

Summary: I suggest staying away from this game. Like most Konami games I've tried, this was also a disappointment.

Blog #1

I had to read an article about blogging for one of my classes. I though, hey why don't I have one? So taadaa! now I do.

Let's see, a little about me. . .
I'm currently attending school at Axia College of University of Phoenix. I'm working on my associates degree in communications. My goal is to eventually earn a master's degree in journalism. My "NBA dreams" include working for National Geographic. I will eventually be in upper management at a mid - large size newspaper or magazine. I'm a good photographer, a good writer, a good designer - but I'm great at managing those elements.

I love photography. I love to write. I love my family.
Anything else you want to know, just ask!

More to come.....you know you're excited! lol
